Make My Monday #106 Autumn/Fall

Hi all,

I'm here today as it's time for the Make My Monday #106 challenge, This challenge has been chosen by the lovely Wei, and you need to use Autumn/Fall colours or images!

Here's my card for this challenge,

This was such an easy card to make, I've even used up scrapes of paper!  The background is Lawn Fawn paper scrapes I needed to use up, and then I cut two circles to create a frame, which I attached all the sprigs too.  I used the McGill - Designer Pine punch for all those sprigs in Autumn colours.

The sentiment is from an old Stampin Up! set called Paisleys & Posies but I think it works well on this card! The banner is by Altenew from the Wood Pallet Background stamp and die set.  The sentiment was too large for it, so I just masked it off and curved the top one a little to fit the banner, and then masked it off again and stamped the Blessed separately.
A few sequins, bling and ribbon complete the card!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the cards made by our amazing design team, on the Make My Monday Blog, and I do hope you are inspired to take part!

Make My Monday #105 - Colour Challenge

Hi all,

I'm here today as it's time for the Make My Monday Challenge #104, This challenge has been chosen by ME, TeeHee.... And my challenge is going to be a colour challenge! Here's my card...

This gorgeous stamp called "Endless Potential"  is by an Australian Company based in South Australia, called Uniquely Creative, They are a new favourite of mine LOL.

Anyway here is the colour pallete I choose

Were in Spring here in Australia, and I just love these colours and flowers LOL

I stamped the image in black waterproof ink, as I wanted to try out the Arteza real brush pens. (very similar to the Zig real brush pens for watercolouring)  There is a slight difference between the Zig and Arteza mainly the size of the brush tip and Arteza have a few more colours.

The Sentiment is by Clearly Besotted, I really love that font!  I've added a couple of gems to the middle of the flowers and a wee bit of sparkle to complete my card!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the cards made by our amazing design team, on the Make My Monday Blog, and I do hope you are inspired you to take part!

Make My Monday #104 - With Whimsy Stamps

Hi all,

I'm back today with another post this time for the Make My Monday Challenge #104, This challenge has been chosen by the lovely Dawn, and it's to use shapes on your card, it can be Circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, etc...

I've gone with circles ...

I die cut a panel of pale blue/green card and I adhered the die cut circles to the panel, the mermaid tales have been coloured with Copics and fussy cut out so I could tuck them in under the circles, I wanted the circles to represent the bubbles created when the mermaids are diving under the water...if you get what I mean LOL...

The sentiment is from the same set too called Mermaid Dreams.  To finish the card I just added some droplets, sequins and rhinestones... and a wee drop of nuvo sparkle, well you have to have some glitter don't you...

AAA Birthday

Hi all,

Its that time of the month again ... It's the first Monday which means it's time for a new challenge over on AAA Birthday and this challenge #5 is use a stencil!

I was still in Masculine mood and wanted to play with some happy mail I had ordered whilst I was ill... Retail therapy, good for the soul, not so much for the wallet LOL..

So I created this card by stenciling the stripes in distress oxide ink, I then die cut a circle the same size as my port hole, out of masking paper and stuck it down,  I Went over most of my stenciled lines with distress oxide ink and flicked some water for splashes of sea LOL..

I die cut the porthole and glued it to the MFT circle shaker pouch, added some sequins and balls inside and glued that to the panel.

The anchor was coloured and then fussy cut and I just added some twine to resemble rope, the sentiment is from the Neat and Tangled set - Yo Ho Ho, and that completes my card!

We also have Rachelle joining us this month as our guest designer, so please pop over and have a look at her card and the other cards by our amazing design team! I really hope we will inspire you to join us and play along  and you have until September 29th!

Thanks for stopping by!
