Make my Monday #108 - Poppy/Poppies

I'm here today as it's time for the Make My Monday #108 challenge, This challenge has been chosen by the lovely Caz, and you need to use a Poppy or Poppies.

Here's my card for this challenge,

I've chosen a very simple card for this challenge as I'm still not well... I must admit it's taking its fair time to go and every day I feel more miserable as I'm losing my crafting mojo, so if you find my mojo, can you please send it back ASAP please :)

So back to the card, this is an Altenew stencil, and I filled in the stencil with distress inks and then went over it with my Arteza watercolor pens, and I just used a water pen to blend/watercolour out the edges, once dried I just went back in with the Arteza pens to put in some fine details. (see told you it was simple! although I made it over a two week period as I can't look down for too long urhhh)  I added a die cut thanks and some sequins and that along with some paper completes this card..

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the cards made by our amazing design team, on the Make My Monday Blog, and I do hope you are inspired to take part!

Make my Monday #107 - Fruit and or Vegetable

I'm here today as it's time for the Make My Monday #107 challenge, This challenge has been chosen by the lovely Janeen, and you need to use a fruit and or a vegetable.

Here's my card for this challenge,

I've chosen this design for a couple of reasons, it was an easy one to do, and I'm thankful that you guys are still with me, even though I have been MIA with not much happening on here, TBH crafting is hard ATM, I'm hoping that as the weather improves I do too! Not much of an ask is it LOL.

So back to the card, this is an old Stampin Up set "At Home With You" I coloured the door, mat and the pumpkins with Copics and die cut them out.

The paper is also from Stampin Up, I just added a few more lines for more boards and added a strip along the bottom for the decking.  I die cut the door in the backing paper and then added my door in it's place.  The window section of the door has also been die cut, and I just added some clear transparency sheet (acetate) for the windows and popped a tiny piece of paper to resemble wallpaper.

Nothing fantastic about this card other than it fits the criteria of the challenge and like I said I'm thankful that you are still coming to visit me, it means a lot!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the cards made by our amazing design team, on the Make My Monday Blog, and I do hope you are inspired to take part!

AAA Birthday Challenge - #6 Colour Challenge

Hi all,

Its that time of the month again ... It's the first Monday of the month which means it's time for a new challenge over on AAA Birthday and this challenge #6 is a colour palette challenge! The design team have been hard at work for this one, we have so many amazing creations, so I hope we inspire you and you come on over and join us!

We also have Trina  as our guest designer for this month too! So don't forget to pop over and take a look at her card and leave some love too!

Here's my take on the colour palette challenge...

So when I saw those colours for the colour palette challenge I thought of Halloween...but we are a Birthday challenge so I needed a birthday card that I could incorporate those colours into...

So This stamp is one that I won from the Less is More challenge a couple of months back and I couldn't wait to use it!  Its by Uniko and its called Peony Bev the owner of Uniko is so lovely and she posted it to me all the way from the UK!

Anyway, lets get back to the card!.. I have inked this up with Archival ink on Bristol Smooth as I wanted to watercolour it with my Arteza brush markers, I only used a few colours;

A105 - Lemon Yellow
A112 - Orange
A101 - Red
A161 - Emerald Green
A120 - Seaweed Green
A122 - Moss Green
A104 - Noir

I also went over the image with my Polychromos pencils for a little bit of extra detail too, and a few sequins and some splatters of black paint complete the card!  The sentiment is from the Peony set also!

Thanks for popping in to see me, I hope you like my card and don't forget to pop over and join in!
